Promise Adoption Dossier Services is here to
assist you with preparing and authenticating your adoption dossier
paperwork for your international adoption.
I can work with adoptive families living in any state, and U.S. Citizens
living abroad, and families adopting from any foreign country. The goal of Promise Adoption Dossier Services is
to ease the overwhelming feeling that most all adoptive parents
experience when they begin the international adoption process. The
paperwork requirements can seem daunting and confusing. I will
make this aspect of your adoption journey as easy and seamless as
possible, so that you can focus on preparing to parent the child who
waits for you, somewhere in the world. Because of you, that child
now has the PROMISE of a forever family.
Promise Adoption Dossier Services is owned and
operated by an International Adoption Professional and adoptive
mother. I have worked for more than six years as an International
Adoption
Program Manager, Dossier Manager, and Home Study Services administrator.
I also have adopted a child from Russia. I have traveled to
foreign countries multiple times to tour orphanages, discuss adoption
programs with government officials, attend adoption conferences, and, of
course, to complete the adoption of our daughter from Russia.
I have coached hundreds of families through their
dossier preparation, and have prepared multiple home study reports for
adoptive families in the states of North Carolina and South Carolina. I have experienced many
variables in my work with adoptive families and their dossiers. I
have worked with families living abroad, who have even more challenges
in preparing their dossiers for adoption. I have also worked very
closely with adoption facilitators in the foreign countries, gaining
knowledge and confidence from who are now considered very close
friends. Although international adoption is in constant change, I
have developed a strong grasp of the process in multiple countries.
Additionally, I thoroughly enjoy sharing
experiences and advice, as an adoptive mother, with other adoptive
parents. I have received extensive education about parenting post institutionalized and
cross-cultural adoptive children. I have counseled with adoptive
parents about the parenting needs of the child they will bring home.
